CountCheat Version 2.2

CountCheat CountCheat is a program that allows you to cheat when playing the word game on the popular UK game show 'Countdown', as shown on Channel 4. The program allows you to type the letters as they are called - when all nine letters are in, you'll see a list of all the words you could make from those letters.



This program is not endorsed by or affiliated with Channel 4 television or Countdown in any way.

Versions 2.x of CountCheat have the following new features:

  • It is now possible to define words using the Dict.org dictionary service
  • Updated word list, removing many illegal words
  • Ability to choose your own word list, and letter count
  • Faster application start-up time

Installation Prerequisites

CountCheat requires the Microsoft .NET Framework Version 1.1 Redistributable Package. You may have this software already installed on your computer - The CountCheat installation program will prompt you to install the framework if required.

Download the Microsoft .NET Framework (23MB) if required.

Installation

Download CountCheat 2.2 (439KB) and run the program to install.

If you would rather not install the Microsoft .NET Framework, CountCheat 1.0 (1.9MB) is still available for download, however it lacks many of the features found in the latest version.

CountCheat Online

CountCheatService is a very simple online version of CountCheat. Because it is a web service it can be integrated in to other applications.
